Well I thought this looked a little strange please give me your thoughts if this is an error. It weights 4.83g and has strange circular markings...
its struck several times on both sides so it appears more beat up then it really is

In the "in god we trust" the S appears to have a D mint mark but I can't really tell since the S looks pushed up please help[ATTACH]
oic, do they add extra copper to rims to do that? my coin looks like when you use a cookie cutter and there was to much dough causing excess out...
tanks, I have looked at tons of pennies and this was my first like this... it just looks like penny measles
not the side thing silly... the encased, anyhow I will try and take a picture of side it looks like the rim edges are thicker then the center
Has anyone else come across anything like this? and do strike through errors occur on both sides of coins? At first I thought maybe surface damage...
sorry I forgot to to set my dpi higher on my scanner and I am still trying to figure out how to take good pictures of my coins do you have any...
