Hi Sheila, You will probably not get any responses to coins posted in your album. I only saw your question because as a moderator, I approved your first posts. If you would like feedback on your cent you should probably start a thread. If you go to US Coins Forum and select "Post New Thread" you will get plenty of responses. My opinion on your coin is what we refer to as "post mint damage." You can see on the reverse that the coin once had a rim. The cause of the damage on the obverse, don't know.
