As always with my coins, It's the plastic that looks like crap not the coin itself.

Polished the slab. Used a white background. I think these might be better.

PR65 because of all the milk spots and a few little scratches, however lovely coin!

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

You still have focus issues, but yes, the second set is better. Proofs are hard to photo, though, so keep working on it.

Because of the spotting on the reverse, I'm going to top out at 65.

I'm not sure what is going on with the shoulder, but it is keeping me at PR65.

I interpreted that as some re-polishing, such as seen on his temple and forehead.

Polishing wouldn't affect the devices, you'd see it in the fields.

Well.... There could be rebasining of the coin, which would show in the fields. You could also have polishing of the devices. This was common on proof coins of this era, and is described in Tomaska's book on the subject.

This isn't a proof, but a PL... shows plenty of die polish on the bust.

I see. Very good example, it shows it very clearly in the devices.

Yeah I'm still trying to figure that out. I need to play with other settings.
