LOL! It's not that bad... and this is a pretty safe coin. US Mint commemoratives are only overpaid for when they are first bought after release, then they loose most of their premium for several decades before building up/regaining what the original buyer put into it. Go on, give it a try.

You also forgot to suggest that Friday could be flat and go in neither direction. ;)

I just cannot bring myself to doing it my friend. If only it had NO numismatic value, I'd pick one up ASAP....

I have four 1/10oz AGE's and it bothers me that I even have them. Everytime I calculate my holdings, I always forget them....

I'm just a simple guy.....I like the KISS method.....

Nahh, I'll stay underneath it with a big bag to catch all that money that's spewing out from it.....

Please excuse my ignorance, but... please 'splain to me, what does 'AGE' stand for.. is it something like Gold Eagle? Maybe? Or what? Thank you.

Ahhhh! Thank you; I read the link. Now I understand (a bit) the difference between 'bullion' and 'collectible' (numismatic); I also get that the ones in presentation boxes or cases are the collectibles, and the ones in the tubes are bullion. I didn't realize they were made differently, but rather, thought it had to do with circulated/uncirculated. At any rate, it helps me better with sorting/categorizing. Gee, the ones in tubes look just as pretty ;) Thank you again. (Both who answered..)

Excellent! Glad to hear you got two birds with one stone in that link! :smile

Of course some people collect bullion too, so it can get complicated. :D
