Great commem Fret! Just love the Statue of Liberty series from 1986! Nice numismatic piece. Sometimes you can buy them close to spot still!

my new prediction for gold: year end 2010 - $1,300.00 to $1,350.00 two years from now - $1,650.00 five years from now - $2,300.00 as for silver: end of 2010 - $20.50 end of 2012 - $25.50 end of 2015 - $36.00 to $40.00 my dear krispy gonna cry out loud at me again
fretboard, that is a beautiful coin. too bad I am not into numismatic. I would love to have one of those just for the design.....I just don't want to keep track of the "numismatic" side of things....
You can often pick them up close to spot and you can always treat it like bullion. Maybe when you sell your silver bars you can scoop up one of these. Just one won't hurt... don't worry about the numismatic stuff if you like the design. It's fun to collect like this and disregard having to worry about collector premiums, esp. since this one doesn't carry much of one!
I would love to but it would give me OCD. I like knowing that my AGE's are exactly identical. Like you said, I could forget the numismatic side and count it as bullion, but I wouldn't be able to let go of how much more it is, even if it's just a dollar...
tomorrow could trigger a big drops for dow jones average and s & p. beware..... on the other hand. gold and silver might push up to a new recent high.
