Took awhile to get here, even if it falls back below $19/oz. again soon. ...now to just get over Elaine's hurdle of $20/oz.
Yup it fell back. But the huge spike today is very interesting....let's see what happens overnight now.....people waking up to this huge rally for silver.
E-l-a-i-n-e!!! Wakey wakey! LOL! Currently: In Asia-Pac markets for Thursday, 8/26/10 GOLD: $1,239.80 SILVER: $19.00 Platinum: $1,533 Palladium: $498
Gonna have to pull the trigger tomorrow and sell the silver that I have been looking to sell. I don't beleive these numbers will stay sustained for too long. In the long run, we'll probably see $20+ silver but honestly, it's taking a very long time to get there. Plus, if I do have to buy some back, I'll do it via ASE's. My ASE's look PERFECT after almost a year, while my bars look horrifically yellow....different finish perhaps?
Hey Krispy, you may want to have your divorce lawyer on speed dial when silver breaks $20........just in case the "marriage" does not survive silver's run past $20.
@ fools gold: Nothing wrong with that! Gotta do what you gotta do to feel secure and have peace of mind. ASEs are fun too and while mainly bullion now, hold the future potential numismatic value as well!
Hahahaha. I hope you are right because a "divorce" can be hazardous to gold and silver coin collections.
I have asked about that too... she declines to answer like a politician in front of a investigative panel. LOL!
"Your Honor, we have never met in person and I don't even know her real name or what she even looks like... She's a self-proclaimed "material girl" nee, a gold digger, as her avatar line attests."
Cell phone cameras take crappy pictures and if Elaine decides to show the Coin Talk Community part of her stash, then she should get a very good digital camera and get someone to show her how to take the best pictures possible with that digital camera. For example, First Spouse gold coins and Pandas are very beautiful coins but using a cell phone camera to take pictures of those coins just does not do it justice. If a person takes pictures of their collection, then take the best pictures possible.
Hmmmm.........You might want to also have a private investigator on speed dial as well as a divorce lawyer when silver breaks $20. Silver is currently at $19.05 as we speak so you might want to move quick on getting that private investigator.
Nope. I am not a divorce attorney and I am not a P.I. so I am not able to help you there. I am just a silver art bar collector.
