Well, I have a number of silver that I was looking to offload as I've mentioned MANY times. =)

I was waiting for silver to hover around $18.60 before I unloaded them. For some reason I'm not as concerned with gold which isn't doing all that well either. Maybe I should be? ha!

I ran across this article today about the protests that have been going on in Bolivia:

    http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSN1124448020100812

I know that a lot of us have been speaking about China this or China that & have all heard how China is urging investments in gold & silver.

Well a couple things in the above article made me go HMMM.

"The protests also brought to a halt the Cerro Rico silver mine, where thousands of independent miners work, and some key mines controlled by foreign investors, including San Bartolome, the world's largest pure silver mine run by Coeur D'Alene."

    and

"San Cristobal is one of the largest mines in landlocked Bolivia, producing some 1,300 tonnes of zinc-silver ore, and 300 tonnes of lead-silver ore per day. It is 100 percent owned by Japan's Sumitomo Corp (8053.T)."

Thanks for the link Kanga! I follow news through Mineweb and they picked up this story through the Reuters link as well. You make a good point not to focus on fingerpointing at just one place/player like China.

Didn't download anything, all I know is that I've been reading many articles pointing to the same consensus....I don't want to read anymore, I just want to see the fundamentals in action!!!

Yep! These bugs gotta put up or shut up! LOL! Let's see some performance that backs up these exclamations of breaking $20 by such and such a time, breaking $1350 by such and such point... these threads are nearing a year old, hopefully that's an education in speculation itself. ;)
