thanks krispy. it's a little cheaper at provident metal. only if you buy small quantity.

i (might) buy these as a sample and a first trial at this company. all dated 2010 and it's unc:

5 panda at $26.61 each (3 to be given as gift)
    4 britannia at $27.95 each
10 lunar tiger at $23.41 each (6 to be given as gift)
    1 libertad at $24.07
    1 philharmonic at $21.21
    1 maple leaf at $21.21
    1 am. eagle at $21.31

total cost at $566.75 plus shipping $11.95 = $578.70 (23 bullion coin). or $25.16 each. spot silver currently is around $19.05 per ounce. so i am paying some 32% premium. that is the disadvantage of buying few pieces.

all these coins i never have it before. except am. eagle silver dollar. so i will keep some 14 pc as sample.

    what's your comment dear krispy?........

well i changed my mind. cause they gonna charge me 2.3% or $13.00 plus additional for using credit card. total shipping cost you some $25.00 plus. all these companies charges more shipping were golden eagle., apmex and provident metals. i will never buy from them. i will stick to u.s.mint for only $4.95 or any quantity or amount order.

Pay with a personal check, money order or bank wire. The order processing time and delivery time from Provident is much quicker than Apmex. Avoid using credit card because of the fee.

Elaine 1970 and Krispy........An online match made in internet forum "heaven". :D

Both you and Elaine 1970 make a great online couple. ;) Simply amazing IMO.

I was a member of CT since May 2009 but apparently I must have missed the "wedding" between you and Elaine 1970. Was the reception good? Did you all serve good food? How are the "in-laws"? :goofer: :goofer: :goofer: :goofer: :goofer:

Postal Money order option is very fast

Be aware that if you pay with a personal check they will hold until the funds clear. If I recall correct they mention something about 10 business days. If you pay with a postal money order there is no delay.

I've had 2 experiences with Provident. I had a small sample order that I paid with a card. Ordered the goods on Sat PM and received on Friday.

The next order was larger and I did not want to pay the card juice so I mailed a Postal Money Order. I ordered on Friday PM, late, put MO in mail on Sat am and got the stuff on Friday. The only thing that worked to my advantage was mailing on Saturday instead of Monday.

So....if you want to get the goods fast, pay with a postal money order and not a personal check. For $1.10 you get the goods within a day or 2 of paying with a credit card. I've not bought a postal MO over $800, so if you order more than that it might cost you more than a $1.10, but not 2.3%.

    Happy hunting!!!

I'm not sure which is going to file divorce papers, but I'm quite sure it will be the day silver hits $20 an ounce.

  21. With the amount of precious metals involved, there had better be a really good prenup. :goofer: TC
