Not me. It might have been someone who ordered from them during their move and shortly after, which was timed well for major storms down there - Tornados weather, and etc. During such times, the delivery shipments can be off a little. If it is near the weekend, then it seems longer. :kewl:

They are one of the best at answering the phone, and handling awkward situations on my part - like a returned check.

They shorted me on an order once, and I simply got tired and calling over and over and finally gave up ($8 coin). The service was terrible dealing with this situation. I no longer buy there.

  4. I have ordered from Apmex and have had no problems. I even had to return an item, and they handled it very professionally. TC

Great Service - Did business with them late last year. Delivered on time - good price - great communication. Entered one of their contests and even scored a free ASE! Wouldn't hesitate to do business again.

if a dealer can be trusted. they should list all the coins individually with a buying price.

Their buying prices change with the market.

price changes is understandable. just put the buying prices just like their selling price. ex: add how much to the spot bid. what they doing is add how much to the spot ask for selling only. and only put random year a buying price to mislead the public.

Yea, but i view APMEX just for a gold and silver dealer, and while they do sell the random years of morgan dollars, peace dollars, etc...you should just buy one from a dealer or a coin show because you know what your getting. So i would only go to them for the guarenteed product.

Sorry old boy but didn't you just get burned on overpaying for a 8TF Morgan from you local dealer? Obviously you did not know what you were getting...

This is the 4th time you post negative items on the threads i start. Get off and quit doing it because its obvious that its not necessary.

And maybe you should read the "coin talk code of honor" bbq because im seriously sick of you posting negative attacks on me on some of the threads i post on. Ill save you the trouble of scrolling down the page:

    Coin Talk Code of Honor
    1. Post unto others as you would have them post unto you.
    2. Keep it clean, like a 1950s family television show.
    3. If you don't like the coin, don't trash the person.

just speaking the truth dude. b4 you give others advice you should probably follow the advice others have told you several times and that is to read up. I would never give other people advice if I didn't know what I was talking about as I am just learning too...

And maybe you should read what other users have told you multiple times on previous threads, which is to stop being so negative in your posts towards me. I dont mind critizing, but the way your doing it- isnt acceptable. And if you would read some other peoples posts you would see i dont try and portray to be a expert, because no one knows everything, if you dont have anything positive to say dont say it at all, it's a relatively easy concept.

dude - why all the anger? Not sure why you bothered posting the code as I haven't violated any of them unless there is an unwritten rule about not agreeing with someones post - kind of what you just did...

    1. hey if I tried to pass myself off as something I'm not or gave unqualified advice because I am a newbie I wouldn't be offended if someone called me on it but I don't so I have no worries

    2. never used foul language merely questioned your advice and level of expertise

    3. didn't trash a coin just questioned your expertise

If you are going to post advice in a forum you need to be able to take criticism if someone doesn't agree with you. If you can't then don't post - simple as that. I am just trying to get some good, reliable info.

Because you follow most of the threads i post on and have nothing positive to say on it. And if you actually read up about the type I, II, and III dollars you'd see the information i provided concurs with the information you will find. You can chose to stop posting negative items about me any time you like because your just digging yourself deeper. Ever since you joined CT about 3 days ago all you have done is post negativity on my behalf and im not gonna tolerate it anymore.

So either stop posting or dont post at all.

I think every business in the industry should post their exact gross profit on everything they sell. That way we'd all know how much they are "ripping us off".

Better still, maybe they should have a link to their financial statements.

    Come on guys.

There is no need for this. If you can't play well together, then don't play together.

I didn't realize I was required to post a positive comment in response to every post of yours or anyone elses that I read. btw - you shouldn't make threatening comments such as "im not gonna tolerate it anymore" or "So either stop posting or dont post at all" as most forums frown on posters making threats. May I suggest that if you have a problem with what I say that you deal with it in a more civilized and mature manner.

Last week you got ripped off by your local dealer on a Morgan and later in the week you posted in a thread "Im not saying its counterfit but my general rule is pre 1850 or anytihng over 100 dollars has to be slabbed". In case you didn't realize it when you tell others about your "general rules" it implies you are an experienced collector and have some level of expertise which contradicts some of your initial posts.

You seem to have a problem with criticism which you tend to confuse with negativity. So someone doesn't agree with some of your posts or questions your ethics and you go postal? I have read posts by all the top posters which you happen to be one of. Some of your posts just happen to be questionable so I criticized them. If you can't accept criticism then maybe you should reconsider posting advice to others.

I feel like the dentist in "Marathon Man"! :mouth:

In all seriousness I am just trying to learn more about collecting and found some of hunt1's posts questionable based on his earlier posts. This forum is very educational and I appreciate the numerous amounts of good info I have found.
