Krispy, Congrats on One Year! Also Nice contest, I wish i had entered, but was to late as i did not check in last night. Also I have a project of my own which has been eating up a lot of my own time. Regards, Stan
Thank you richarrb and Welcome to CT! Hang around a while and you will find a lot of fun contests pop up from time to time. Thanks Missie! (FreakyGsMom) I'm glad the contest theme(s) were interesting to you and you found some tangents to read about after digging up the answers. Hi Bob! bobbeth87 Hope you are doing well. Coinman1974: Stan, thanks very much for the kind thoughts. Hope all is well with you and your work.
Everyone please remember that even though you have submitted your answers already, you may change any or all answers up to the cut off time, Sunday, 6/20/2010 at 11:59 pm (ET). Each revision submitted will stand as your final answer(s) for any question(s) you may have changed, even if you previously submitted the correct answer but changed your mind and got it wrong by editing. Link to the Rules in the original thread. So don't be discouraged to keep reading and if you realize you have something wrong, to resubmit your answer(s).
If there are multiple contestants with all 10 of the questions correct resulting in a tie, an 11th multi-part question will be posed as a tie-breaker. Subsequent ties may be broken by drawing remaining names from a hat, if required.
PM's I have received as of this posting: • FreakyGsMom • commidaddy (not eligible for award / playing for fun) • conpewter • halfdfanboy • flyers10 • green18 • Yacorie • PeacePeople • mystery45 • Duke Kavanaugh Keep them rolling in folks. We have 43 eligible contestants and those who have PM'ed answers are only about a quarter of the contestants who pre-registered to be eligible for the contest!
PM sent, and I had a great time researching this. I believe I got them all right except for question #4, and I think I have a 33.3% chance of getting #5 right. Great contest, thanks Krispy!

We have a 7-way tie! From the 43 eligible contestants, I received answers from 14 eligible contestants and of those, 7 contestants answered all 10 questions correctly and on time: • FreakyGsMom • green18 • Yacorie • PeacePeople • Duke Kavanaugh • chip • bigjpst Congratulations! As stated in the Rules thread, in the event of a tie amongst eligible contestants, an 11th multi-part question will be posed as a tie-breaker. Soon, I will post the tie-breaker question in this thread. The remaining 7 contestants will have until Wednesday, June 23rd 2010 by 11:59 pm (ET) to PM their answers to me. Subsequent ties may be broken by drawing remaining names from a hat, if required. ===================== I would like to thank everyone who has commented and participated in the contest to date and for the kind words and enthusiasm expressed both in the contest threads and in your PMs. Many of you did very well answering the questions and only missed one or two questions. Question number 4 seems to have posed the most difficulty of the 10 questions. I will post all of the answers to the questions including the tie-breaker question when the winners are determined and announced. Thanks everyone. :smile
