Yeah I know. The current administration doesn't have much to offer to help the space program. I know they have a hellova lot of other more important things to be doing with the economy and whatnot, but it is sad that we have to rely on other nations for access to manned space travel. This was Atlantis' last launch and there are just three more launches left to go in the program.

To me, the space shuttles are NASA. When I think of NASA, it's the shuttles, nothing else. What will they make of themselves post-shuttle, I don't know but they would need an image makeover...do you know many movies were made about the space shuttle!!!

That's very true. The shuttle program is something I grew up with and many many people have come to know space science and exploration with this face of NASA, a real connectivity to the program. It's an extremely anticlimactic ending. Although I do know there will be a future in some other form. It is just sad to see it go out this way.

Krispy time for an update looks like PM's are taking a licking today.

Okay, but not too many updates... I might unnaturally jack up my post count and get criticized for it later on, as if it counts for anything at all... ;)

    CURRENTLY:

    GOLD: $1,197 -- Low $1,192
    Silver: $18.28 -- Low $18.14
    Platinum: $1,609 -- $1,597
    Palladium: $464 -- Low $456

Platinum and Palladium, which were pretty darned high, certainly have slouched off in the last PM spike as well.

I like to search for opportunities on each pull back or dip. If you can find something to buy, be it: junk silver or other bullion, it's worth the investment if you can part with the dollars and have the time to hold until future increases give you an opportunity to trade into some other investment or sell off what you've saved up. I personally like to make small incremental purchases. It adds up quicker than you think over time and you don't loose time or opportunities waiting to buy/sell at a set price.
