but then the gold and silver did not increase much. it is platinum and palladium. also copper and the rest of metals. with 6% increase. gold will never bubble. but might catch the other metals instead. some analysts predict silver can go to $35.00 and $70.00 range. even tell us to sell gold for silver. why sell gold. just buy more silver. i plan to buy 1,000 ounce of american silver eagle and australian lunar series II year of the tiger.

Well you know, if the darn silver can at least go over $20, it would start to look like a good deal.

Pallad's, gold, these guys go up by the dollar.....silver? It goes up by the pennies!!! Or down by the pennies....

When gold has a good day and goes up $10-15 bucks, what does silver do? Go up 10-15 cents!! LOL!!!

Ah, this gold thing seems to be stuck in the 11.5 area. I was talking to one of our students at work yesterday and he was telling me that the US gov't is sOO broke that they're having trouble covering it up anymore and anytime soon we will see it in the way of inflation. That's right, inflation big time!!. Also, just the other day someone on the news was saying that the US gov't is bankrupt. Of course that was coming from Ron Paul but still he's not far off stating something like that. Well I want to see gold spike to where it should belong which in my guesstimation should be between $1500 and $2000 an oz. Anyone feel the our illustrious government is broke and having trouble covering it up?

The US Federal Govt. is one huge troubled/ing issue, each state, some more so than others, are another issue, then some cities too are very deep in the red... the same is true of a spectrum of many citizens. Everyone needs to take a serious attitude and common goal of responsibility to get through these tough situations. It's never fun to have your back against the wall but that does mean there's only one way to go to get out of the scenario.

I don't think this is really any knowledge that most folks around here don't know, or even those economist....well..at least the austrian ones.....

I think the gov't is doing a very GOOD job keeping us U.S. folks living in the status quo...at least the ones that haven't been foreclosed on and living on the streets....

When I say GOOD, I don't really mean that in a good way...just that we are not yet feeling any pain of any magnitude.

Because let's face it, if the status quo can be preserved at the expense of other countries, do you really think anyone, or the majority of folks are going to stop the gov't? I know I'm generalizing and making us look like heartless people, but it's not a U.S. thing, it's say...more of a human natured thing...

If other citizens of other countries can have what the U.S. have, they'd do anything for it....they'd do it in a heartbeat!!!
