Can you please take that 1918-S Mercury Dime in the top right and take pictures of that one individually?

Preliminary assumption from these photos is you SCORED on that one. If that's an UNC or even AU... this lot is paid for several times over. And if it's FB... cherrypick of the year. 18-S Merc in FB is a four figure coin.

Beat me to it. At the very least, get that coin into a protective flip, stat. Also mind the 1919-D; it's worn, but still a better date.

This is the kind of lot that I used to watch for and pounce on on eBay BIN listings. They're VERY few and far between.

Yup. Also that 1924 is much better than junk and would be a wonderful album coin.

Lots of silver condition rarities in this time period. People couldn't afford to hoard coins during the Great Depression and World War II. For instance... you see 23-S Walkers in AG-G in junk silver bins all the time, but if one in VF or even Fine slips in and you notice and buy it, you have a very lucky find. Once found a 25-S Merc that was a "problem" coin with a scratch and corrosion spot, but it had AU-55 sharpness otherwise. Due to the very dark terminal obverse toning the dealer overlooked it, but I was very happy about my find.

I got a batch of dug Mercs a few years ago that included a 1926-S with XF details. I almost doubled my money from the batch with that one coin, and I still feel a twinge of regret that I let it go, even though it (along with all the others) had been scrubbed with a wire brush.

Junk silver? Those look better than most of mine in albums. Nice haul.

Close but no cigar for FB, that nick on the left side of the bands precludes it and it doesn’t look like the center is quite fully separated. Closer than the majority of 1918-S dimes! Still, this coin easily pays for the lot multiple times over. Has some spots but the angled pic shows pretty nice luster. I’d say this one is even worth submitting to PCGS or NGC especially if you want to sell, since you’re pretty much into it for almost no money, the slab will protect the coin from mishandling, and having an MS or AU-58 on the slab will increase buyer confidence greatly. $200+ if full UNC.

    Excellent find! I’m certainly jealous.
