Great, nice Roosters up there! Here's a gold buffalo coin I bought last week, it's a coin that I've been wanting for a long time but they're quite pricey, so I was hesitant. Anyways, I finally said to myself, frack it, I'm gonna buy it!

First 2022 AGE's

Unexpected difference from from 2021 type II. The "security" flat spot in the reeded edge has moved from the 6 o'clock position in 2021, to 7.5 o'clock for 2022.

 

Reed edge anti-counterfeiting placement difference, 2021 & 2022 American gold eagles.

 

And that answers a question posed in this other thread, I believe!

APMEX has some great stuff right now, so when I saw this in B/U it was an easy decision, prefer B/U over the graded stuff when you can find it, just less of a
premium, as we are talking bullion here, and as we all know Mexican gold can be
a tough get ! just allot rarer over AGE,S and buffalos.
