    • Threat of war.
    • Endless currency printing.
    • Reduction of faith in and increasing regulation of virtual assets (crypto, etc.)
    • And!!! Government showing that it will freeze your assets based on nothing more than your political leanings.

I really hope that last one is indeed a factor in what we are seeing, people need to pay attention to that. If that doesn't get shut down right now, the practice WILL spread and become normal.

It's funny that inflation showed up big in CPI last year and wholesale prices and continues to push up, look at vehicles groceries etc.. Inflation has hammered every aspect of life BUT PMs which were supposed to be the main hedge against it. It's very strange and I don't believe the current numbers are accurate. Somethings going on. Gold should be 2500-3k by now. Silver should be over $50 or there abouts.

And yet you can go out and buy as much as you want for much less than that.

up so nothing is on track, you can’t
even go back on previous data
    it just doesn’t compute.

Great, now we're playing Wordle.

I had to chuckle when I realized that one disease and two Presidents we can't mention here fit into five blanks...!

Freeze your assets, store some food, essentials, and cash. If your still concerned place your head between your legs, I'm sure you know the rest. Good luck!

Thinking very seriously about pulling out of the market, seems the safe play to
    me.

Yes the Russia position near Ukraine has a definite effect on the price of PM's! Terrible situation for the US to be in, I have plenty to say about it but for right now, I'll just stuff it! :D

Why not a preemptive strike on Russia
makes since there going to attack anyway.

I'll just observe that both of us are here today because a string of seven or eight US administrations were not so foolish as to follow that reasoning.

Why would you possibly want to start a nuclear WW3 over Ukraine which isnt even am actual NATO country? How about we start caring about things at home for a change.

I think inflation has some bearing on the prices too.

Or you can buy imaginary assets based on "The Greater Fool" theory that there is always someone more gullible someplace, sometime, somewhere. IMO Jim

I think its good to have a mix of everything - stocks, bonds, real estate, a little gold/silver, and a little bit of food/TP/Masks in the pantry. Never know whats coming.

Look at the gas pumps. Any internationals tweak is always a top 10 answer. Times aren’t that good. This government but get edited together. Been a long time since their was a REALLY REALLY GOOD American Rally the Americans around something like when the USA amateur teenagers won the hockey Olympics. Hug everyone at the grocery store. I was on Loon Mt. N.H. Sling. We stopped to see the game. When the skiers heard US was winning. Lodge went nuts. Poles and skis everywhere
