Don’t call palladium values soaring it’s
over all value has dropped substantially
over the course of the last few months
as it was well over $3,000 an once
now it’s $2,300 so big decline.

That was my first reaction, too -- but it has just erased all its losses since last September.

Will it go up for a while longer, or sink again? Who knows?

What I've learned in the last 40+ years regarding bullion prices is that tomorrow it may go up, may go down or may stay the same.

yeah, was thinking of pulling the
trigger on palladium back when it
was over $3,000 though it may have
made some gains back, if the trigger
was pulled I would now have a empty
    gun…LOL

I only have a one tenth ounce palladium round. If i had the money i would buy more.I think once the chip shortage levels out that palladium will take off again, theres also the conflict with Russia that will push it up.I just wish the U.S. Mint would produce smaller ounce rounds besides the expensive 1 ounce ones.

Yeah, it would be nice if they made the same sizes for gold, but I think the issue
there is popularity and volatility, like my mother in law massive mood swings...LOL

In the 1970s and early 1980s I worked as a custom jeweler. I would buy palladium settings because they were about a third of the price of white gold ones. I should have laid in a stockpile.

I keep thinking about all those class-ring alloys that were made with palladium because it was so much cheaper than gold or platinum. There have to be a bunch of those floating around.

I still have a small jar of mixed pieces of scrap. Someday I'll send it off to a refiner.
