    Had a nice piece I was bidding on but someone needed it more then I did.
    Actually 2 bidders at the end at over $200 a gram.
    Wow tough crowd.

    Nope.
    The sovereign was primarily an official piece of bullion and had no mark of value on its face. Nonetheless, it was the country's first coin to be valued at one pound and one shilling.

    This is a whole Sovereign they also come in half
    Sovereigns.
