Thanks for the link, I had never seen this. The site is loading a little bit slowly for me, but it looks interesting. How good is his track record? What kinds of investments is he promoting?
I found him from youtube. He seems to do vlogs about once a week. He doesn't really promote any products from what I remember which in a way is kinda good. He just talks about the economy. Decisions that gov'ts make and how it can affect you. He does vlogs in both English and German which to me is appreciative. Let me know what you think of him. I'm going to reserve my time listening to folks on youtube that are at the very least economists of some sort. Not just average joes/janes jumping on the "dollar collapse" bandwagon and repeating the same script...
I don't see where he has any experience managing money professionally or being employed as an economist for any significant organizations. Just about anybody can start a website these days. I don't know what would make this a good use of your time.
REALLY??? I'll have to revisit his website again, I swore he had credentials!! Perhaps the "Dr." part threw me off..... I'll check it out right now, my apologies if he's just another average joe!
I also looked at his "predictions." Some that he claimed to get right he actually got wrong, and some had actually occurred or been announced before he actually made his "prediction." So I would treat this as entertainment, not analysis.
Thank you! I recently just added him to my youtube subscriptions but I'll have to reconsider that now. I have that book that you recommended, haven't read it yet though...
You won't be sorry. It's a great investment book. Chapters 8 and 20 are perhaps the most important concepts ever written about investing. But don't neglect the rest.
Sorry if this is a redundant post but what book is that? Please share! (I did try searching but I didn't find anything.)

Why solicit opinions? No one, whether opining or predicting, can ever provide an answer to your post to such a question. And in so much, this is all this and the other similar threads are really already about. Can you define 'the wrong direction' for us?
This is only my opinion, but I think there is a high probability that gold will never sell below $1,000 again in the lifetime of anybody at CoinTalk.
