Long term gold is the safest bet, actual video start at around 1:58! I wish the gold price would pump up faster but that's okay, I'll hold or as they say in the crypto world, I'll hodl! :D In the video the actual gold talk starts at around 9:30, mostly stock talk before that! The guest has a lot to say even about vaccines and the reason we're getting them today, interesting take for sure! He talks a little bit about crypto but not much at all and what he says is spot on, at least for his conservative point of view! :cigar: Just sharing another opinion for discussion as this guest is new to Stansberry Research!

I here about it, but I don’t see much
action taken by the fed and the regulation part is very vague so I am

Go for it! :D I'll give gold 3 or 4 more years and if the price don't go up in a noticeable manner, I'll let someone eat my hat! 112.gif

We're on the internet and it's not safe to share personal information so I won't. Even if we weren't on the internet, I still wouldn't say. If you want to tell the world how much of this or that you have, feel free! :D tmoney - Copy.gif

I knew someone that had a SDB till they got wind of what the bank wouldn't allow them to keep in it.

And I leave the door open so they dont tear up my safe wondering what is in it.
IF you have a spare 1million dollars to gather up gold....you better have a security guard, you know like a stay at home mom...

It's safe to say I'm not going to have to consider adding that type of security.

It's been said that gold and silver are always a hedge against inflation but, is it really true. I wouldn't call it a hedge against inflation I think of it more like a safety net when things get bad. People have been using gold and silver for over 5,000 years and in general it's great to have when things get out of control. Paper money hasn't been around that long and there have been multiple times where paper money became worth nothing. In a true financial or government meltdown Paper money, stocks and bonds can lose their value over night. Stocks aren't worth anything if a company is shut down or forced to close because of a war or political unrest. This is when gold and silver really shine. However, don't assume it will have the same buying power as when you bought it. It's buying power in uncertain times has more to do with barter and what the person you want something from will take for it. So, if you have $10,000.00 worth of gold that and the economy collapse that doesn't mean you still have $10,000.00 worth in gold. It could be worth a lot more or worth a lot less. But it's still nice to have and look at. I think everyone should have some gold and silver.

There are several things that a family needs to do. First, make sure your money is in a safe place and your extended family doesn't know anything about it. If you haven't already done this, you may want to start collecting paper goods. For women, they absolutely need their paper products. Toilet paper is another thing, unless you are want to use leaves. When I was in Uruguay back in the 60's, there was a rush on TP. Their money wasn't worth much so we used it. If you have the money now, you may want to get a reputable GENERAC dealer and have one put in. Food stuff that have short lives may not be available. Back when my father took us on a tour of Europe in the 50's, we had powdered milk with our corn flakes. When you get hungry, you will eat just about anything. If you have a place to store food, you need to get what you need, especially for small children and babies.
Our Church has been telling us for decades to get a year's supply of anything you can store. The military's food packs are good for quite a while.
Back to what many of you have been thinking of.. Have your gold and silver stored in a protected place. Many of you have gun safes. I don't know that much about them, but if you have anything in them and someone finds out, They will come in and take anything you have, even your gun save. They will regret it when they can't get it open, but you will be out of it.
It is a real scary time out there. People that are your "friends" will probably know you have gold and silver and if they get hungry enough, they will come and get it, friend or no friend. In South America, those folks are starving and they are killing people to get whatever they can.
So, be same, and be careful. As my father use to tell me, "Keep your trap shut and your guns, handy."
