Here's one Youtuber who thinks bitcoin is going down because we are still within the four year cycle. Could happen but for every person who says the price will crash there's another person who says the price will explode, same as gold! 112.gif

Funny, isn’t it, that you too have been saying the same thing for years?

Never really thought of bulls as burrowing animals... ;)

(I know, I know, we're only a third of the way in. There's still time for a pop, but the hole to pop out of has gotten deeper.)

It's amazing to me that, out of FOMO so many retailers have added the capability to accept BitCoin as payment, it is being used in so few retail transactions . . . they too were convinced to buy into a pig in a poke.

You can't use a volatile asset as a medium of exchange.

I am surprised BC has been so weak the last month given the strength in the stock market.

They hadn't reasoned that for themselves before signing up. Of course, I'm sure the proponents who offered them the ability to accept BitCoin payments offered them that ability at no cost to perpetuate the fantasy that it was mainstreaming.

I think it's related to the four year cycle. Bitcoin may go down in price for December, maybe even January but it will definitely be around with higher prices at a later date, no doubt about it! All you gotta do is go on Youtube and look at Kitco, Stansberry Research, Robert Kiyosaki and the rest of them and now they're saying to buy gold and bitcoin, it's not one or the other, it's both! :D

That's an interesting assertion. I mean, take the "Gold is real money" partisans. From their point of view, it's the DOLLAR that's the "volatile asset", what with its value fluctuating against Gold by the day or hour or minute. And yet, since they're stuck dealing with the rest of us unenlightened fools, they have to make transactions denominated in dollars.

I'm quite sure there are already people who believe BTC or Ether or Doge is a better "real money", and think their current price action is just because of misplaced confidence in the volatile USD asset.

And if they prefer believing that Gold or BTC is non-volatile, and it's just that everything else is going up or down in lockstep counterpoint to their Chosen Medium, who am I to question it?

But you just said (okay, two weeks ago) that you "know from watching the numbers that December is going to be extremely bullish"! Doesn't this leave you with at least a little doubt?

Heck, I think BTC will be higher at some future date. I think it's extremely unlikely that we've seen its all-time high. But I don't know that that's true. And more to the point, I don't know that it won't hit $30K or $20K or $1K first.

I don't know for sure it will drop that low either but that's my hope! I don't own any but I hope to at some date but I don't want to pay $48,000 plus for it at all. If it drops to $20 or $30k, I may buy into it! A crash on gold or bitcoin can be a good thing for many, including me! :D

Funny I've been right for year isnt it? If someone invested when this thread started they're likely a billionaire now. If someone invested every time it dipped back down to a couple grand and you guys were patting your selfs on the back dancing on its grave they made a TON of money. Its the same song and dance over and over and some of you just cant seem to understand. I dunno what it is but I do know crypto and NFTs are here to stay,

Also dont lump me in with him

If there is one thing I dont want you to be is puzzled...LOL, BTC has been hovering
in the 48K range for awhile now as I have already taken the foam out at that level
so up or down in about a 5K range, and yes I am very much a fan of profit, very much a supporter of that :)

I wouldnt mind a quick big crash to get in heavily and watch it recover. I try not to ever wish long slow declines on anything that really hurt people but something quick would come back fast and as long as people dont panic could benefit a lot of people

Interesting days to see bitcoin dropping down to $46,500 especially since I thought with all the research I was doing that the price would explode this month! So much for my deciphering! 112.gif

The best approach, have two accounts
one for trading and one for long term
I think BTC is heading a bit south so
looking for another drop lower 40,s
that’s when I will jump back in, still
have some foam to talk out if I want
for the end of the year.

    There's rock-solid reasoning supporting a move upward.

There's also rock-solid reasoning supporting a move downward.

Rock-solid reasoning still can't predict the future of a speculative vehicle.

While I am not a fan of BC, I guess I made money off of it as I recently bought
and sold Coin Base at a nice profit. It has been dropping I am looking to get back in.
