Well, I saw it coming but didn't think it would be this soon. I think it was a little over two years ago that palladium over took gold price per ounce and surprised me of how far it could go. Maybe three months ago it was at $2900 an ounce. Today it is checking in about $10 less than gold; wow, what a turn around. Anyone out there see this coming?

That really doesn’t surprise me, palladium has been way over priced
for the past couple of years and the
    volatility is insane !

I think Russia has a large portion of the market.

Even if it dropped below the price of silver, I don't think it would make it any less appealing for thieves to stop stealing catalytic convertors from vehicles.

I’m guessing the market was flooded with every single catalytic converter the thieves could muster.

my neighbors had theirs taken. A used car dealership also got hit. Big losses for everyone involved.

Almost as bad stealing gas ! my son was doing some work for Pepsi and some guy drilled a hole in his tank put a twig in the hold and begin draining, was driving a 1500 pick up guy got away with 20 gallons !

Your son has a hole in his gas tank by a thief and you're worried about 20g of gas? I think I'd be more concerned about the 'leaky' gas tank ;)

I like the Palladium coins from the US Mint. I think their current selling price of $2950 is a still too high (were $3400 not too long ago) with current spot price around $1750.

These will be added to the list of things to watch. Maybe when they fall below $1000 I will come back and revisit the series.

It seemed to really take off when the coin was released, so alloy of correction in
    that market.

No, I'm pretty sure they've been 99.95% palladium from the beginning. ;)
