Did you guys check out the BRAID in the indian's hair? Theres where the copy lies...and I find it halarious you guys really beleive this is a sincere question. If it is, If just feel really bad for you!
I put together a diagram earlier in thread to indicate where the word copy is hidden. It is surprizing to see how often new questions arise on this forum about these sort of TV offers. I'm just glad there's a mountain of support around here to steer newer collectors, who may get confused, around this garbage.
When ever i see this commercial on T.V. I get a little ticked off !!The deception Of what there doing here trying to pass a gold proof coin off for $19.00 When an oz is well over a $1,000 SHAMEFUL!!!!!!!!!
Operators are standing by... Help me! Mr Popeil!!! "I wanna shine some pennies, I wanna mend some leather, I wanna crazy glue my head to the bottom of a big steel gurder"
I watched the first two minutes of that infomercial. The guy walks in front of a mirror, and you can see a bald spot on the back of his head. If it worked, don't you think he'd be using it? Funny!
Oh, there is gold on the coin! But your home computer contains 80x more gold in it, and you don't hear Dell referring about the price of gold as a sales pitch.
This is very deceptive advertising. This was on TV and my son thought it was really cool and wanted one. I explained how it is a fake, etc. I hate things like this because people buy thinking they are getting something they are not...
Yeah there's alot of ppl who think it's real. A girl I work with asked me about the TV commercial. It's a standard rip and run scam!
I asked a while back, or last week about the coins offered by Publishers Clearing House. For $15.00 I ordered two Uncir. Kennedy 1/2's They state in the fine print that the Mint Mark can not be guaranteed one way or another. Either no one responded or I've missed the link all together. Would you guys know if these PCH Advertisements of Collectables really are Colletable?
I'm actually surprised that so many networks are running this commercial. Are times really that tight for broadcasters, or will they make a buck at any expense? Either way, I'd like to thank any networks that either refused or pulled the commercial. It doesn't just sound deceiving, it is intended to be.
do you really think a network would turn down money? they have to pay the bills too. i seriously doubt any network refused the commercial.
