i am not bearish nor i am selling any of my holding. but because the stock market went up so much that it will come down. thus it will affect temporary the price of gold and silver. year end we should see another bullish on gold. it should break the record high again. but the stock market. i don't think so. but for sure. when gold break below $1,000.00. i will buy a lot again. but not bullion gold.

Will Mint prices be lowered again next week? Do you think the Mint will suspend 2009 Proof Buffalos if they have to lower to 1310?
this was in my mail box today at 8am est http://www.coinnews.net/2010/02/04/gold-plunges-to-1063oz-silver-crumbles-to-1535oz/
if the average price of gold trade below $1,050.00 an ounce. then the mint have to lower it down. the mint will not suspend selling it. because the mark up is quite high. i should said very much high. it was overpriced by two to three bracket. ex: based on $1,052.10 an ounce. we can buy bullion gold at $1,111.05 from apmex. the mint product for the collector's version with w mint mark unc AGE one ounce. the price is $1,328.00. the gap is 20% from apmex. the mint is satisfied with 3% mark up for its bullion products. now is 20%. why should mint suspend it?.
Was there suppose to be a jobs report today? Is it kinda coincidence they are saying it fell to 9.7% after yesterdays DOW debacle? Do you think they are trying to control the demolition somewhat?

few more hours before we can know the gold price movement for the next few days. i think it will re-test again the low posted last friday.
It might go up, or sideways or down, but I'm more concerned what happens when the NYMEX opens. It seems the price drops when they open, and tends to go higher or sideways the rest of the trade day.....at least this has been the recent trend.
"No gold-digging for me... I take diamonds!.." "No gold-digging for me... I take diamonds! We may be off the gold standard someday.” Mae West I liked the old Mae West movies. Gold-standard or not. I like the gold too. Any price under $2,000 an ounce seems reasonable to me. I wish I could afford to buy more gold. I just have a few of this and that (mostly fractional world coins). --- The real interesting story for me, however, is in spot silver. I think it will go up and up. I am courious to if gold will keep up it's footwork along with the other metals? This last year is especially nice for gold as far as reading articles go. Three years ago, my stock broker looked at me like I was speaking "greek". He does not anymore.
