I stopped and got one last week, the price was 22$, Saturday I went to my favorite dealers and got two for 40$, I have three sets of them, plus a lot of extra ones, so I got my three sets all filled for 2010.

The coin dealer I know is selling for $21.50 solo, and $20.50 a piece if you buy the whole roll. I'm sure if you buy solo, he'll be willing to throw in a non-vinyl plastic flip for free. Cut out the middle man, and buy locally.

Remember they are just bullion and will be less sought after in a few months.

so that 'less sought after' demand means the US Mint can proceed with 2010 Proof ASEs??? :rolling: ;)

  14. Check out mintproducts.com. Their cost may be slightly higher up front but shipping charges are often lower (if you're using a credit card), so I find out the door cost to be lower sometimes. TC

Unless your local dealer wants $35.00 for the 2010 silver eagle.

Last year I bought a 10oz silver bar from him and about 6 months later I tired to sell it back since silver was about $5 an ounce higher then I paid. The dealer said he doesn't buy these kinds of bars and I said well I bought it from you and he had nothing else to say to me so I walked out and have not went back since.

Hahahahaha "Sorry, I only sell those"
Dealers are funny people, thank god for the internet.... I could not collect coins just from my local guy.... I mean hes great and all, and has good pricing but A) 5% sales tax and B) limited selection mean you gotta turn to the web... sounds like you need to do the same thing as a seller if your local guy is that much of a dick.

I can find 10 coin dealers all with in a 5 mile radius. If I extend that radius to 10 miles, I can find about 50 coin dealers. No reason not to pit one against the other and shop around for the best price. Maybe I'm just lucky to live near Chicago?

It's amazing how people get into bidding wars, and end up overpaying for things, especially when it's new or in demand. I think it happened to me one time.

    This is amazing.
Unopened roll of 2010 ASE sold for $420 with free shipping.
On the ebay page is this guy's shop address.
Go there, and he is selling rolls for $406 with free shipping.
That's right, on the ebay page is this guy's internet address for his company, and it's cheaper.
    I'm really amazed sometimes.

Edit add: Not sure if this is the right place to post these, so I will stop posting here. . . but not in CT!!!!!
