I vote for crazy. ASEs are cool ...but no need to hoard at $18 spot.

Time will tell, I just have a couple more to get to have three full sets, one for each of my children.

Any price below $20 for silver is going to look like a screaming bargain in hindsight. But whether you are astute or crazy depends on your financial situation because whatever the merits, silver is too volitile to have all of your money invested.

Remember that silver spot was just $6.50/oz. 5 years ago and that most of the big profits have already been made since then....

I agree with the ammo! For end of times, I don't want metals, I want guns, ammo, food, water, fuel, power generators, etc.

Gosh..it'll be just like the end of an action movie..how exciting!

And out of this cloud of post-catastrophic mayhem, a victorious figure will stride into the foreground. Gun in one hand, gold in the other screaming primally " I told you so!"

I will never be a party to this kind of philosophy.

Crazy would be spending money you can't afford to lose, or being compulsive, or buying without a plan.

Listened to the song..what's the point?

Like Warren Zevon, but wouldn't put this particular composition at the top of my "favorite Zevon list".

You will never be sorry. The ASE are artistically beautiful, numismatically fungible, intrinsically valuable, and cost a negligible premium.
