Just wondering if anyone here is investing in these new ETF's? Whether you are or aren't any thoughts on them? I'm thinking about buying some, I don't have any interest in taking hold of any palladium metals since it's kinda volatile so if the prices jump, I'd like to sell them quickly....
I would suggest reading the prospectus carefully before investing. These things are a bit more complex than they look, and may not have the metal in their possession that many folks assume is there. I'm particularly worried about GLD. I own gold and silver for wealth preservation under certain circumstances. The ETFs are more of a speculation heaped on top of an already volitile commodity.
Thanks Cloud, I will take your advice. I see that the volume for the palladium ETF's isn't that much. About 176,000..... I'm a simple guy, if the ETF's are more complicated than they look then forget it!
Keep in mind that I didn't say they wouldn't go up. They might. But it would be important to know the risk going in. Good luck.
