Quite a prediction, especially for Silver but everyone has their opinions and I certainly have mine! :D If you were paying attention in July 2020, we had one day at least when the price of Gold kept spiking upward throughout the day. Not sure what the date was but I was at my LCS and I was buying Gold that day, I shouldn't have been buying as the price was high but sometimes Gold fever hits me and I buy. I can see Gold going up to $3000 sometime in the future but I just don't know about Silver. Besides, not sure it will go up that high in my lifetime anyways, I'm hoping for $2300-$2500! :shame: What are your thoughts on this subject??

$2300-$2500 for silver? If that's the case, I have about 500ozs. in silver medals that I would be willing to sell at a substantial discount.

CPM9ball makes a point as the price rises, more and more people will be selling rather than buying and eventually there will be an impact on small money dealers to keep up with the larger companies. Just an opinion. Jim

It goes up and it comes down. Sometimes it happens fast but mostly is a slow process. Don’t try and predict what’s it’s going to be on when as you’ll never be correct and you’ll lose money. Be patient.

Silver goes up on the escalator, down on the elevator
If I ever see $15 I’m all in
If I ever see $75 the nearest pawn shop will get some nice coins

Obviously I made an error in writing that up, I was talking about Gold! I appreciate the correction as I get older, that stuff happens more often! :D

I would find it hard to see silver above 50, and never even close to approaching 100. All this talk about silver - and nothing is happening. The only thing that went up was the premiums over spot - which was probably the point of all the youtube videos.

Now gold - I could see possibly up to $2500 for while.

Depends on your definition of 'fair'. Melt price for Morgan/Peace dollars is $20.17 this morning. (so about a 24% premium @ $25)

Silver at $20 and gold at $1,500 is where the market should be these days.

I'm sure that silver and gold will reach those $$ levels. But by that time a $100 bill won't buy a loaf of bread.

I can see that happening today it cost me $43 to fill my cars gas tank but back in Feb. it was only $17.50 to fill up.

Silver is much more rarer then Gold in the Earth, so it's already backwards.

Lets just assume silver goes to $150.00 per ounce next year. What does that really mean. It means our money is worth much than it is now. That's the sad truth. People seem to think if gold or silver hits these high marks everything is great but, the opposite is true. If silver were to hit $150.00 per ounce next year I would be really scared. This would mean the value of the US dollar is in the shitter. Which it already is, because the current government is not having a problem with printing money that isn't backed by anything.

Consider what we are paying for items at the store or gas station. Not a good sign folks. Last night on the news they were explaining how some manufactures were reducing the weight of food in their packaging. They used an example of Wheat Thin crackers. Last year the box had 16 ounces listed on the label but, now the same size box has 14 ounces listed on the box. I've even seen items on the shelves explaining we have new packaging, but, look real close to see if they are playing with the weight of the product in the package. They did this many years ago with ice cream. Do you remember when a box of ice cream was half a gallon. Not anymore. Um what's happening. Last week I was at a store and was looking for a package of shredder cheese my wife wanted. In the past these packages contained 2 cups of cheese in them but, last week I noticed a weight reduction on the package of one of the cheeses I've bought before. Instead of saying 16 ounces it now said twelve ounces. Which means the package of cheese now only has 1.5 cups of cheese. Not good if you need two cups so I was forced to buy two packages and not one like I normally would. Had I not looked I know I would be heading right back to the store as soon as my wife went to fill her one cup measuring cup. Think about this the next time your in a store. Don't be surprised if you start to feel sick after you realize what's happening.

In 1970 it cost about $5.00 to fill the average tank...now about $60.00...that sounds just about right to me, as fuel has been shockingly LOW.
