    One of the original auctions of interest when we became involved with the deceptive struck counterfeits was this 2013 Stacks one- from it we found 5 counterfeits which include:

    Lot # 14112 1806 C-1 half cent

    Lot # 12031 1795 S-76b large cent

    Lot # 12035 1798 S-158 large cent

    Lot # 12492 1836 Gobrecht

    Lot# 13217 1836 Gobrecht Platinum Nights)

    And possible source coin:

    Lot # 12879 1847 Hawaiian cent

    I am reviewing others at this point; it would be helpful to know if these came from common consignors and if there were any others from them we haven't investigated but it is difficult to get that information due to confidentiality.

    I am finishing my research summary article on the counterfeit Hawaiians and looking for new material to research!

    physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

    So you are saying those 5 coins are all counterfeit? Have you found the source coins for them, or are these a part of the families you've already been describing?

    Have you posted any on the counterfeit Hawaiians? As far as I recall, I don't remember hearing about them yet.

    Yes, those 5 are all counterfeit and yes we have found the source coins for each. I actually own multiple examples of the 4 types listed in genuine TPG holders.

    @ksparrow answered the Hawaiian question!

    My contact at Stack's acknowledged the 1795, 1798 and Hawaiian were from the same consignor who has not consigned since.
