We actually have a few of these in the valley right now, and there use is expanding, welcome to the BTC ATM for the internet challenged.
Are those the ones that have you start out by depositing a complete identity-theft kit? DL with photo, SSN, and so on?
Good old American coins are a great investment, here to stay also. Can you say the same for Crypto...
For all considering "crypto currency", here is my opinion: I purchased Bitcoin when it was well below $10,000 and held as an investment for growth & profit. Please read the top line again because I did not buy it because it was a great opportunity or currency method. On the contrary, the charges for purchases with Bitcoin or other crypto currencies is very high and unless you are getting a great deal on an item, it is not feasible at all. In full disclosure, when Bitcoin hit $60,000...I sold a few for pure profit and still keep the rest in case it goes higher and I will sell then. Mark my words, these are ONLY here for profit and not for long term hold as this area is VERY VOLATILE and NOT stable in the least. So, for all those considering, do so very cautiously and ONLY with intent to make profit and NOT invest for long term. Again, my opinion.
I thought this thread was about bullion investing. What does money stored in silicone diodes have to do with bullion?
The thread title doesn't leave much room for confusion, but I agree that this seems more like a General Discussion than a Bullion Investing topic.
Crypto is a digital coin, so I would for sure include it here, not really a general description topic.
Allot of haters on crypto here, they don’t understand it so they love to criticize it I guess we’re the ones laughing all the way to the bank
To complete a transaction it appears you need a crypto wallet on your phone. The Coinflip atm accesses the crytocurrency wallet on your phone to complete buy/sell transactions. As with most all online transactions a level of trust is involved. https://www.coinflip.tech/bitcoin-atm?location=the-smoke-shop-los-angeles-california
"Allot(sic) of haters on crypto here, . . ." Good to see you're not a judgemental person. Get it. Because of interest in the subject, not hate, I casually follow BTC threads. I don't remember reading messages from anybody hating cryptocurrency.
I dont do electrical witchcraft well either, doesn't mean I hate it BitCON, just another example of gambling.
Money is not stored in those silicone diodes. Those diodes have no intrinsic value except for what someone is willing to pay.
mpcusa, Your return is well taken, but I was speaking long term. No offense to Bitcoin investors. After studying the factors involved, I have no interest in adding it to my financial portfolio. Best of luck to those who do.
So am I, I dont plan on getting out of BTC anytime soon, for those who dont invest its more of a product of not understanding then anything else, just like a card game even though the odds are all on the house, you can increase the odds in your favor by researching the game you want to play, this is no different here.
