Looking on ebay there are a 95 and 96's saleing for 500 to 700 dollars. They are certified pf 70.Others certified pf 69 and still in the mint box sell close to the same price but much lower. How do they command such high prices for the former?Thank you
they are relatively low mintage years under 500k compared to later years mintages, I just found on the bay 96 pf69 ngc in the 100s ranges with buy it now, the pf70 premium is not justified for that mintage not worth it to me
You say it's not it worth it in your opinion but would that stop you from getting that much if it was yours?
Of course not, If I had a pf70 and where to sell it I would obviously try to get the most for it, whatever price a buyer and seller agree on is fair and legal.
one thing to be careful of is sometimes the grading service can be very strict on giving out ms70 or pf70, but in the future, they can loosen the standard and grade many more in top grade. i was watching the pcgs population report for sacagawea dollar from 2000 and 2001, it was very low prior to this year, now it's not low any more.
