This realllly makes me wish I had just become a member of PCGS and sent them in myself... I sent my coins in a day before you, so I should have mine back already but I dont! dont know how the dealer sent them or when he got around to it.... he mentioned he may even drop them off in person when he went to some coin show. *crosses fingers that mine will be in soon.... I miss her

rofl, I want the coin to be delivered ASAP, actually, I would prefer it had already been delivered while I was at work today, although I think the guy told me they would send me tracking numbers and let me know when PCGS got it and all that and I still have not even gotten word of anything *sigh* knowing my luck it will be a month from now.

 

Sent them in under EXPRESS SERVICE plus I sent them by USPS Over Night. Just on these 3 though....the rest will go Regular Service.

I thought all 3 were 70s......:kewl:

 

*sigh* I shoulda done mine express... I just did regular. Ive got this bad feeling in my gut thats its going to come back ungraded because it wont be a 70 and if its not a 70 I told them to leave it raw. 69s are worth LESS than raw coins.
Oh well, got two more on the way.... ones gotta turn out to be a 70 . congrats on those bullsit, im jealous. PS, damn you for that new pic of the fractionals.... you put that up just to make me jealous didnt you!?

Next two bufs are going to NGC on express. I am a member with them so I wont have to deal with a middle man dealer.

48% of the PCGS '08 $50 Proof Buffalos were 70s.....

 

Funny, the dealer was shocked when I said I wanted it left raw if it was not a PR70.... hes like well... the chances it will come back a 70 are slim to none I mean look at: (then he mentioned some double eagle that had hundreds of thousands minted, and something like 3,000 were pr70s and twice as many were pr69s...) basically trying to tell me I was an idiot. I tried to explain that mintage rates and coin submission rates were two different things.... not like NGC or PCGS grades every coin that comes out. I am confident one of my coins will be a 70, but thanks for the reassurance bullsit.

If they aren't PR70 you get them slabbed?. Grade on these coins needs to be PR70 to add value?

I bought one AGE proof from the mint and a AGE unc NGC70 first strike.
I'm wondering if I should've bought two proofs and passed on the
unc ngc70.
What do you think?
