I never get sick of seeing these coins. Even after seeing them thousands of times in hand, in picture, doesn't matter.

 

Mine is still "in process"...at least its off hold. I wonder how long before it ships

 

Weird its still in process... I just ordred one this afternoon and its already instock and reserved... prob ship by monday for both of us.

 

Mine was in stock and reserved the first day. The order status was "on hold" for a day and then went to "in process".

Yet it says this with the coin....

Im sure they will still ship it monday as their ship dates mean NOTHING, still frustrating!

mine is in process. in stock and reserve. while my relatives and friends were on hold. and back-ordered till Nov.20,2009. but if you order a new one. it might be in stock and reserve. because right now there is no shipping date indicated.

I even paid extra for expedited delivery :crying: Which of course the online order shows but the receipt that was emailed to me shows the standard rate. As an IT person, this drives me crazy!

 

Showed the same thing for me, but they gave me express. I hope my Second coin is as pretty as my first.

 

You don't have to pay for expedited delivery with gold or platinum coins. All these coins are bumped up to FedEx over night!

I am sure the mint will gladly take your money without telling you this. I would call them up and get a credit for the delivery costs. Might be too late, but now you know for all future purchases.

You know what they look like, and you probably have three or more others just like it, but it's better when it's in hand. I always expedite high dollar items, but they just don't bill you for it. It's free over $300 I think???

I see that commercial on TV where Gordon Liddy is clinking those gold coins together, and it makes that clink that only gold can make. I'd love to do that, but then they are touched, and ruined. Guess if I was as rich him I could carry them around to play with.
