I know this e bay seller...years ago I purchased quite a bit of coins from him until he done me wrong! An 1878cc DMPL Morgan that I took a bath on....can't recall the price I paid but it came back in a body bag from both PCGS & NGC! It was wizzed and damn good job at that. The seller in in Ft. Lauderdale Fl.He does get some cool stuff in his shop but buyer beware!!!! We did have a good working friendship... he did not know alot about coins...he even offer me a job buying estates for him traveling around the eastern US. When I questioned him on the 1878cc he say way did you not come to me sooner.....I replyed he was out of the country at the time. I had a friend in Canada now gone... who warned me about dealing with this guy as my friend did not know him but knew his type.... from our conversations about items I purchased from this dealer....my friend was very savy on coins and deals in general as he was a deal closer... for mega millions companies. He put deals together world wide ...and could smell a rat miles away. I hope things work out for you on this coin.... but I will tell you this...... this guy has a way of sucking you into a deal...he's very smooth....knows how to sucker you in hook, line ,and sinker! You'll get a few good deals but then when your guard is down he'll set his fangs into you. A nun told me one time a word to the wise....Good luck

Yes in deed Yakpoo you are so right....and this guy is a member of both PCGS & NGC.......I know it to be a fact! he's a slick one I'm telling you. And I just remembered another reason we parted company...yes I told the seller he had some fake Calf. gold coins listed on e bay...just to give him a heads up so he could remove them...... well needless to say he did not remove them:whistle: Buyer beware

I have no complaints about the seller. We cut a deal while the auction was pending, but he didn't end the auction (hence the disappointed hi bidder). I wired the $$ to him, and he shipped the same day before leaving on an overseas trip!

I understand your confusion, the facts are that we cut a deal while the auction was pending, but he didn't end the auction (hence the disappointed hi bidder). I wired the $$ to him, and he shipped the same day before leaving on an overseas trip!

BTW, you did a good enough job posting the pictures in the original post for this thread.

None of this is a ringing endorsement for eBay auctions..

A crooked Seller; a crooked Buyer who works a "deal" to undercut the winning bidder; and then, the delicious irony of the crooked Buyer laying not one but two negative feedback postings on the crooked Seller.

    But the good news is:

Both guys are now dead meat on eBay.

That was a cut and paste from Ebay.

I can see the images -- very strange. I tried to follow the instructions above, but I don't know how to get the cell phone image on my computer. Like my son sez--I am a computer spastic.

Oh! Were it so simple. What do you know that we don't?

BTW, eBay has now pulled your second negative from the seller. The seller's reply was "the same gay who is recall the money befor sending the item he buy be cerfull of" If I am reading that correctly, he says you did not pay for the 1795 1$.

Baloney--I made an offer that was accepted when the hi bid was around $1700 and did not "undercut" anyone. If you think about it, that doesn't make any sense anyway (why would someone sell for less than hi bid?). The seller should have canceled the auction after the sale to me.

BTW Moose, I don't take kindly to being called a crook.

Can't help you there. To me, cameras are for pictures and phones are for talking. However, if I remember correctly, you should be able to send emails from your phone. Send the picture to yourself.

I did that--but can't seemingly get the pix here--I cut and pasted and can see it, but I guess others can't.
