1972 double date

    I would really discourage anyone from calling a '72 with MD a poor man's [anything] - it is just a coin with machine doubling that has no additional premium.

    I maybe wrong.but if we Bu it would be easier to tell what if any D/D 72 it is:kewl:

    I am sorry but you are wrong. It wouldn't matter if the coin was BU or not. There is no doubled die there.

    Well whatever it is ill still hang on to it. i might start a DOUBLED DIE,mechanical doubling,plateshift doubling and all the other doublings collection and study the difference between them all.Thanks guys for some GREAT information.........................

    before i leave this forum i would atleast like to have the "EXPERTS" explain to me the difference in MD,DD..so i a newbie at coin collecting can eventually know what to look for....
