When buying silver pays off...big time

Just thought I'd share my excitement with everyone that i just received an email from APMEX regarding the contest they held about a month ago for a trip to Australia including 7 day stay and a behind the scenes VIP tour.

I won the trip...Im almost speechless.

And just to think that i spent my yearly military clothing allowance money on some silver makes this even better. Who needs new clothes when you can have silver and a trip for a bonus

BTW, a friend of mine just Went to Puerto Rico and is suppose to get me a roll of 09 nickels..........fingers crossed.

 

Awesome...the dimes are aplenty over there as well. This has been quite a year and a total 180 from last year when i lost my shirt in the stock market.

Its funny because my wife was cleaning out some paperwork from the car today and one of the pieces of paper that was in the car was a flyer that APMEX sent me with the order that showed the contest. She grabbed it and thought to herself "Yeah right, mate" and left it where it was.

I came home, crashed because i was so tired and when i woke up i had an email stating that i need to call Scott Thomas (President and CEO of APMEX) in regards to the contest i had entered over a month ago. Sure enough he informed me that i had won.

I Had given up on winning anything but guess it's possible that I might actually win "something" in my life since I've never won even my money back on a powerball ticket, bingo, any sort of contest, radio included

Perhaps all of your generosity (CT contests) and hard work (service) has truly paid off, big time too! Hope you enjoy the trip, this is quite amazing and I'm glad to know a fellow CTer who won such an awesome contest. APMEX even has a image of the company founder holding a sign with your name on the front page! Way to go!

Congratulations!!!! I was considering entering the contest myself and never got around to it. It's great that a CTer won it. If you've never been to Australia, you'll love it -- but the plane ride to get there is so loooooooooong.

 

i never win any contest or award. bad luck.

 

But elaine you're so rich that you can just buy any amount of coins or bullion you want any time! You are quite lucky to be able to splurge on coin collecting!

i tried apmex. american airlines. and some private parties. never win. maybe just dream it.
