I'm with you. It would be nice to see it go back down to the 15's. With the Fed keeping interest rates the same it really shows that they aren't worried about inflation. I'd like to buy again before inflation becomes a real issue.

Agreed! This is great for us. Crazy how making a statement would affect gold/silver like this. thought i would never see gold go under $1000.

Do you guys/gals think it would hit $900 or is that asking for too much?

I would love to see silver at $14/15 though....

That's amazing how do get the price to slide by wishing it down to buy? Can you wish it up to sell also? Is this a skill you can teach me? But if not, that's OK, however I would request you to wish, Jessica Simpson to my house with a pizza!!LOL

I can just about guarantee that sometime in the future you'll be writing a post that goes something like, "Let's all cheer for silver to go back down to $17. Please, please mister silver, please go back down to $17 and give me one more chance and I promise this time not to mess up." You missed the first boat. Now the last one is blowing the whistle and getting ready to sail while you look out to sea for the first one you missed.

I think its going slowly back to $13-14 and then im gonna stock silver up, again! ASE´s are sold in ebay over $400 per roll now, cracy!

Whats your best sold deal now when silver is high?

I believe the pull back in the price of metals today is from the ETF folks taking profits dumping their metal and going for the new IPO that hit the street today.

The U.S. government, venture capitalists, investment houses, and corporate titans like GE, Motorola, and Qualcomm are all investing in this unique battery maker and its breakthrough technology.

A123 Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:AONE) announced today the initial public offering of 28,180,501 shares of its common stock at $13.50 per share. The shares will begin trading on Thursday, September 24, 2009 on The NASDAQ Global Market under the ticker symbol "AONE." Of the shares in the offering, 27,500,000 shares are being offered by the company and 680,501 shares are being offered by selling shareholders. The company has granted the underwriters the option to purchase up to an additional 4,227,075 shares at the initial public offering price to cover over-allotments, if any.

I missed it back in nov.08 - june 09 as much as I didn't want to and I just want to get all I can now since I finally have some money I can put into it

p.s. If priniciple financial had not fired my wife for pre-existing conditions she had when they hired her which is illegal from what the NE EEOC says since Prinicicle wrote it in the documents as that was the only reason she was fired. I would most likely be in a boat of about 800-1,000oz of silver like I wanted to when silver hit $8/oz

it just would be nice to be in that boat and to have another chance to get their also I hope others can get their too.

EDIT: I still keep buying silver every week but I can only buy so much with the price being where it is if it drops more I can get more. :D

Silver isn't high. Any price below $20 is a bargain. Maybe when silver takes out the 1980 high of about $50 we can talk about silver being high. Can you think of anything else that currently sells for a price less than half of what it was 30 years ago?

It's not high by those standards but if were at $8/oz instead of $16/oz you could get twice as much silver...most people don't have as much silver as they would like to have like me...I'm only at 70 ounces with an average cost of $16.80/oz counting the 21 ASE's I got for $398.37 which still isn't 1% of what I really want that being 8,000oz

And if silver was $1 you could get 16 times as much. If it was $0.50 you could get 32 times as much -- and so on. What if silver starts another run upward and you are left holding cash that you wanted to put into silver but didn't because there was still a chance to double your hoard? Maybe silver will go to $8 and you'll buy it. But what if it goes to $10, or $12? What will you do? If it actually reaches $8, will you wait until $6 to buy even more?

Are you still planning on achieving 8,000 oz over time or do you now have a new goal?

I bought my first 50 oz last week and I love looking at them, but quickly put them into my safe. I really don't know how many I should have, and if I should even have a "Cap".

I also have to think about gold as well, which I have very little of...
