2008w american buffaloes gold proof and unc prices jump up a lot. that include one ounce to 1/10 ounce. let's see 2009 american buffalo proof one ounce gold will do. the only one gold coin for american buffalo during 2009 and maybe forever.

If I am correct, the AGE are 22 carat and the Buffalo are 24 carat, full pure gold at 1 oz and the extra weight above this for stability

american like 22k but the rest of the world most likely sided with 24k. for me i like both. also the color of gold coin. you have yellow gold and red gold. yellow gold mixed with silver. while red gold mixed with copper. i like both too.

based on today average gold price. 2009 american buffalo one ounce proof gold is cost us $1,210.00. the bullion one ounce american buffalo from dealer will be over $1,000.00. today's gold is around $920.00. maybe dealer will charge us below $1,100.00.

i don't see any good investment or exciting on the coming 2009 american buffalo one ounce proof and unc gold coins. unless the mintage for proof is under 20,000 and unc is under 10,000. most likely the proof will pass over 60,000 and the unc will hit over 150,000.

There is a chance the proof will have a low mintage based on the high premium the mint charges.

it is possible for proof to have good mintage. cause the price is way up high. but for bullion uncirculated. since it is much cheaper i guess. and no fractional coins. the mintage will be very high.

if you got 2008w am buffalo proof and unc gold coins and 2006w to 2008w am eagle unc gold coins. if you have one or more than one. do not sell any of it. keep it. in the future. i think those coins that i mentioned will be very profitable. few times above your cost. it's nothing. it will continue to go higher and higher even if bullion gold down.

What is surprising is the premium people are paying for the proof gold eagles.

I usually don't buy modern, but I picked up all of those a while ago (picked up 2008-w Buffallo set for $3250), looks like they are selling for around $6500 now. Too bad it all got stolen, oh well!!
