$600,000 for a dog! I guess my mother was lying to me about all the starving people in China just to get me to eat all my food.

 

She Could have bought a male and a female and hope for offsprings if they were that rare and cost that much money....

if you are very rich. you can do it. if i am a very billionaire like bill gate. i should have clean up all the several pieces remaining am buffalo fractional gold and platinum mintage before the mint declare sold out. or i buy 25% of all UHR double eagle gold. that is 25,000 pc or only $33.5 million. and bill gate wealth is how many billions. see the point.

Yeah and some of those millionaires got that way selling fake coins on ebay!! Sorry hope I didn't offend anyone, I couldn't resist.

 

Don't forget the average Chinese household saves 30-40% of their income (if they can) and will live 3 or more generations together until they can afford more space. The dynamics of the Chinese ecomony is based on one simple principle--"I'd rather work for myself than someone else--but will work enough until I can do that." That is a powerful dynamic!! Also most Chinese don't eat dog. It is rare except in the south and I've never seen it offered in any restaurant I've ever eaten in while here.

The "dog eating Chinese" is a stereotype that isn't true! I have found that many Chinese (older ones that I have met) will not even eat beef because they say that cattle work too hard and so deserve the respect to not be eaten. The general feeling I've seen is that dogs are too loyal and so most don't eat them. It is know to be different in Canton Province. Don't see the fun in joking like this... don't under estimate CHINA. the sleeping dragon is wake up. china will be the largest car and airplane manufacturer in the world soon. future china will also be the largest bank, largest subway system, largest cell phone user and p.c. user, and many largest in the world. they are also entering to the moon with human being. and further exploration to the mars. china currency is becoming one of the strongest money too. china is buying gold now. and holding big amount of u.s. treasury. we have to learn from them baby. time has change. wake up america.
