I see premiums up to 100% over spot for a 10 ounce bar.

    Must be missing something here?

to me a 10 ounce bar is a 10 ounce bar. That being said, I like the geigers but don't get the premiums there either.

Yes, I've always wanted a Hospital Trust Silver 10 oz bar but right now is a terrible time to buy! Here's a one ounce Hospital Trust but I'll wait to buy a 10 ouncer! The bottom one is a First National Bank with engraving listing the price in 1978! :D

    Depends on which bar.
But Yeah, some people just have to have one and have the spare change.

Yes, some collectors buy nothing but vintage bars and rounds. They go for quite a premium, wish I would have bought more years ago but again, shoulda, woulda, coulda! :D

I have sold much of my premium stock, and am just buying strait bullion no more
exotics for me, just to hard to get that premium back.

What really cracks me up is when people pay a premium for a graded bullion
coin, since the vast majority of the are gem anyway paying a premium doesn't
    make any sense.
