Help with this Lincoln Cent

Haven't came across this before. I'm sure its probably PMD. But, you never know. Thats why I'm here to ask. Help appreciated. This rigid mark on the rim is where there is no rim to the cent.

Looks like damage to me the edge of another coin fell on it.

Hmm @potty dollar 1878 . I 'm suspicious of that happening naturally . Am I being stubborn or is it an accurate statement ?

 

Doesn't really matter its damage that's just what I thought kind of happened.

 

I know , I just was thinking how silly that a dime hit the penny so hard naturally . I was thinking it was "HIT" with a dime and a "hammer" perhaps . This is what happens when two CT members have a heated discussion .

 

So, the reeded edge of another coin rolled along the edge of this penny with enough force to leave that impression. Is that what you're thinking?

 

Could have, maybe, perhaps. Who knows, the shadow knows...
