I am not surprised as I heard that it's supposed to go down in August. I don't remember the source but that's what I heard. Maybe it was from youtube. Oh, uh nice pic, is that the gold lady? :D

Green, what's to stop you? Go for it! Between you and elaine's flying fingers around here... it's like watching a fast draw competition. LOL. :smile

I'm also in the boat with elaine on this one, no major dip in gold in the 3rd/4th quarters of 2009. Heading the other way.

The US and the world goes from one bubble to another. Gold may be the next to pop. When just about every radio talk show host is telling us to buy gold, I know it's in for at least a correction.

Danr, if you need or want that spouse coin for your collection and play games trying to buy it cheaper, you might find yourself paying far more than the current price.

in fact. the gold and silver are quite stable. it is the platinum and palladium keep moving up.

Well it had something to do with that picture of the old lady and I didn't want to be perceived as offensive .....'specially with a lady in audience. :)

I think the probability is high that you will see $1,700 before you see $700.

I wonder if there is a way to short gold?
Not now but if it ever does get up to $1,500 or so

Perhaps a bear market gold ETF - have to look into that.

If it ever does get to $1500. you better sell FAST!

If and when gold goes up, it might be a good idea to wait and examine the conditions at the time instead of inventing sell prices ahead of time.

    --- just a thought...
