HI I have read two different things about the Washington Crossing quarter. Is it a one year type or is it the new standard quarter?
I think it's the last quarter for the America the beautiful series but it could be the new regular quarter design not sure.
I'm not sure either. Here is some great information. I think it's a new series. https://www.usmint.gov/coins/coin-m...orge-washington-crossing-the-delaware-quarter
Oh wait.. I created a thread about this new Quarter https://www.cointalk.com/threads/2021-quarter-reverse-design-coinweek-article.372451/#post-5336925
It was SUPPOSED to be the new permanent reverse, but they they pasted legislation creating 10 more years of 5 new designs a year starting in 2022. 5 years of animals, 1 year marking the 250th anniversary of the declaration of independence, and then 4 years of youth sports.
I like this design better https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...108EC29D72597539746F108&view=detail&FORM=VIRE
Hey Conder, where did you see that ablout 5 years of animals in 2022 I don't find this anywhere. I only know about these ideas which needed to pass senate still. https://www.coinworld.com/news/precious-metals/house-passes-massive-bill-for-future-u-s-coin-changes
boooo! I was hoping for an alligator snapping turtle or a Gila monster! You got my hopes up I might of missed something. We get 4 years or womens instead.
Here's a thought, Ruth Bater Ginsburg on a coin! Hope I spelled it right. What a woman, very deserving, in my opinion.
Sure as long as there’s a Scalia one as well. If the idea is to only get liberal justices on coins, hard no
I will continue to focus on older, no longer in circulation, coins as this mint money making thing is just getting old and tiresome.
I think it's an outstanding design, much better than the old eagle reverse which was so damn crowded. I wish they quit this special reverse stuff and stick to a regular design.
You didn't...it's Bader, with a d...and will agree to disagree and leave it at that...to each their own, etc. Back to coins.
First I've seen it...I liked the bi-centennial design better. Was hoping to have the original reverse back...maybe for 2032 (and beyond), the 100th anniv of the GW qtr and his 300th BD
