I'm new to coin collecting can anyone tell me if the coins I have with errors are common or not?? Also I have some steel pennies I'm curious about and no their not 1944 steel cents but 1943 steel cents I actually have 2 of them.
Welcome to CT. Many people on here really enjoy the 1943 Steel cents, but, unfortunately they don't have much value unless they are REALLY uncirculated (not reprocessed...freshly zinc plated) or have interesting toning. Error coins are hot topics. Post in new threads of not more than one or two coins per post, post good front and back full-size photos and tell us what you think is an error. We are really terrible guessers.
Thank you for responding, I'm not to concerned about the values my dad got me into it but I stopped after he passed away 1 1/2 years ago. I recently for the first time since opened up our coin box we always kept the special ones and our favorites. I very much enjoy it just wasnt easy to do for a bit but I'm ready to hop back into it now. Without me sounding or looking stupid Can u please tell me how to upload pictures here?
Looking stupid should never bother you. You're in good company here . It all starts with making your new post in the forum you wish to be in... let's say you want to put it in the Error Coins forum. Select "Forums" at the top of the page, choose "Error Coins", select "Post New Thread", Give it a title and type your text with a description of what you want us to look at, select "Upload A File" at the bottom, find and attach the file from your computer (repeat if necessary), Make them all "Full Image" (lots of us have old eyes). Don't do a poll unless you REALLY want to. Post thread. Good luck
Sorry @JosephPine25 your pictures didn't come through. Start your own thread, I sent you a PM (Private Message)
