Hey Guys . I was given this coin to evaluate by email from a friend . Can you figure this one out ? This is all I got for now . Notice the squiggly lines from the C out and E around . 4F49BEA7-1E44-461A-BFFF-4E4D475A149E.jpeg 0B74CDF4-9055-4C00-B038-00273D850389.jpeg

Strikethrough? Yes! Reeding from another dime? I don't know. Have you ever seen another one like it, Mr. P.?

    Struck thru detached reeding.

There are numerous other examples on
most denominations, if not all (dime or higher)

Thanks for the response, Fred. By any chance do you have photos of other examples? This is the first time I've ever seen one. ~Chris

As a rough guess, if you put it up on
Ebay for auction, it could bring $25-$35
if you get the right two bidders.

That is a more interesting Strike-through because of the "lightening" pattern than what is more commonly seen. The reverse looks to be in good shape, and if the Obverse is likewise, depending upon the date (which you didn't specify), Fred's advice as to what it might fetch on eBay may be worth the owner's effort to list it.
