I really enjoy watching coins in living color:hungry:
My Demetrius is missing his nose like your Athena!.. though, as you said, gotta stay within budget:

    My favorite coin from 2020:
    IMG_4234.JPG
ROMAN REPUBLIC. Anonymous. AE Aes Grave Triens (92.37 gms), Rome Mint, ca. 225-217 B.C. VERY FINE.
Cr-35/3a; TV-53. Obverse: Helmeted head of Minerva left; four pellets (mark of value) below; all set upon raised disk; Reverse: Prow right; four pellets (mark of value) below; all set upon raised disk. A pleasing specimen despite its crudeness, with charming green surfaces. A test cut across Minerva's face is noted for completeness.

Gesture_fist_with_thumb_through_fingers.png Got your nose! Yours still has wonderful detail, not always the case with the smaller denominations of seleucid coinage.

Woah! I tried searching for you top 10 thread but to no avail, is that a republican as/semis? I noticed its missing a value mark. Very nice!

Fantastic pieces. Never seen the lion/boar type, seleucid bronze is criminally underrated!

    Thanks! Glad you liked it!

    Many thanks!
