2009 ultra high relief double eagle unciruclated gold coin

Mine just hit UPS so I have to wait til tomorrow.

Mine arrived today as well. It is beautiful! I'm not a very good photographer. But, I did brave taking it out of the capsule. No problem, I just wiped the fingerprints off with some Charmin(TM) toilet paper, because it's so incredibly soft. I even squeezed the roll afterward.

(BTW, it is loose in the capsule. But, you can push it down for a more snug fit. Also, in shipping it was out of it's place)

I hope The Mint will improve customer service after this incident. They did an incredible job on this coin.

 

i think the UHR double eagle is ugly.

Even mine? It's okay if you think everyone elses is ugly. But, it would hurt my feelings if you think my UHR double eagle was ugly.

I did take her out of the holder. But, I was very careful. I was kidding about the Charmin and fingerprints. It was a very fine silk cloth I used. I did notice a couple of fibers on the coin afterward. But, not many.

Yup, I did the same thing with mine. A little squeeze took about 1/2 of the "slop" out. I should have mentioned that when I opened the packaging I found that mine too had come out of the presentation case, but I've had that happen before.

 

honestly. i think american eagle is much beautiful than UHR double eagle. beside i don't like its thickness.

maybe i am tempted to have one pc of UHR double eagle. but i still have to wait the gold price drop to an average between $800.00 to $850.00. so that the double eagle will then cost me $1,239.00. the lowest offered is $1,189.00. currently is $1,339.00 each. anyway i got a lot of american eagle and buffalo unc with (w) mint mark fractional gold coins. actually is enough for me.

 

u can just trade ur coins for the uhr then

 

Got the magical eamil last night, Mine is on the way, order # was 308389xx ordered around 1:30 the first day. YAH YAH YAH

 

i can't trade it. because all my gold were the fractional american eagles and buffaloes with (w) mint mark on it. which is more valuable than the UHR double eagle. the mintages were ranging from 9,200 to 16,000 at most. i don't buy anything higher than 16,000 pc.
