This is the denarius of one of the Roman legions - from XI to XIV. My guess - XIV.

 

In your opinion, with the photos provided and knowing it came from a coin machine, is it possible that it could be legit? Haha

 

I would say, it is genuine coin.

 

Where was it answered? I missed that.

 

I would like to see it posted in the Ancients forum also.. Interesting if it is legit. Maybe I am wrong.

The machine has another reject bin inside the machine, so I collect everything when I have to maintain it hehe

 

I’m going to repost it to the ancient forum, I already sent a message to the admin but nothing yet, if this is indeed legit I found some other looking ancient coins in the coin machine just now which I’ll post once I hear word from the community on this coin

I think there are surreptitious groups of people "salting" reject bins on purpose.
And only Coinstar ones.

 

On the repost on the ancient forum, collectors are saying it’s legit, also posted the other coins I found as well if you want to follow that thread

On a side note, to send off to deposit at the bank or search through all of them first
