What it is stock holders? :singing: Which one would you go with? Stock in Gilead Pharmaceuticals, Moderna? With the world talking about a vaccine coming soon many people think the price of gold will be coming down! Time will tell on that thought but one thing for sure is the price of gold was going up way before Covid-19 hit us, so we'll see about that! :D

Syringe manufacturers Cardinal Health and Becton, Dickinson & Co. The vaccines are already baked into the stock prices of the pharmas.

Not really, syringes don't move the needle on a big drug stock.

And the news is already in the stock prices of MRNA and PFE.

I do like PFE for their drug pipeline and decent dividend here. But neither stock is likely to fly solely based on C-19.

You also shouldn't be asking about a choice between a cryptocurrency and a blue-chip drug stock. :D

In my opinion bitcoin is just a big bubble waiting to burst.

The problem is that no one is using it a a currency to buy things and everyone is just buying it and holding it hoping prices will go up.

Its a lot like the Tulip Mania that hit the Netherlands.

As for stocks I stick with Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Nvidia and Apple.

All big winners YTD....but if value makes a comeback or the Stay-At-Home stocks stumble....they'll take a hit.

I've had great success with ABBV, JNJ, BMY, MSFT, AAPL & T
All are great dividend stocks. Some better than others for growth, but all with the potential for growth.

I like your selections...some growth, but solidly-covered dividends. I used to cover pharma stocks so I am very familiar with ABBV and JNJ.

PFE with a 4.3% yield and a decent pipeline is interesting.

    I like PFE too.

ABBV has been undervalued for about 2 years now. I think it's on the precipice of a breakout run.

The dollar has also been strengthening. Gold decline 5% 1927.39 yesterday end even fell 1876.32 then back up. DOLLAR GAINING TRACTION IS NOT GOOD FOR GOLD IS IT ?

It's digesting the Allergan deal and the sell-side wanted progress on some new stuff in Phase 1 and Phase 2.

I might have some research I can post here or on a stock thread.

Yes, gold has declined a bit and a significant drop is expected soon. That means nothing to me at all as I'm waiting for a certain price. If the pog never makes it to my chosen price, that's okay I'll be okay as I'll still have my small pile. ;) As far as the dollar gaining traction, I don't think so! :D

Like the other thread this is incorrect. It is used especially in Asia

The actual problem with it at this point is that it's so expensive the average person doesn't have enough money to make it worth it especially with all the undervalued stocks still out there

Same argument was made years ago yet here we are.
