Well here's one I bought last month. It's one nugget taken from two different angles. It's from an area in California known as The Mother Lode. It's about half the size of the photo.

Just another way to add to my rock collection and collect a different form of gold bullion at the same time.

I actually got a chance to hold some nuggets at my MDing club meeting one year . They are sooo heavy for their size aren't they ?

Gold is definitely heavy for its size.

Bought off of eBay in the early 2000s. Small nuggets, but gold was cheap back then

I have a number of small nuggets. I find them to be fascinating.

    Seriously??
You bought a gold nugget and didnt check the weight?

FWIW...there are 2 legit ways to photograph a nugget
IF it's not sitting on a scale showing weight then photograph with a known coin (ie roosevelt dime) for size.

Sure a picture is worth 1000 words, BUT a Photo can be a bit misleading.:greedy:

    I'd say it is overpriced.

Yes, seriously. It's gold and the price is right, like under spot.

    If you say so.
    It's your money to spend.

That's like me saying the 20 nuggets I got dry washing this morning were under spot.
