It seems to want to have some luster and the devices appear pretty sharp but the stupid 2x2. Is it intentional or people just lazy?
Once again, this old man is confused. What are you asking us? Do we see a luster in these photos? A common 1922 Silver dollar and a photo taken with it in a 2x2. What's to see?
I don't understand it either Mountain Man....If you're asking if there is luster on this coin I'd say very little if any....or maybe its a reflection of the plastic over the coin.
Your first sentence is a statement so doesn't invite an answer. Your second sentence is a question you have answered yourself
Are you trying to ask if this is AU or UNC? Because if that's your question, its AU. If that's not your question... please try again because I don't understand what you are trying to ask.
I'm just complaining about the way people photograph their coins. Is it so hard to remove it from the 2x?
pictures of a computer screen of a picture of a Peace Dollar. All those faint vertical strips are from a computer screen, which makes it that much harder.
@bruthajoe The key to really good coin photography is GLARE control from your light source(s) I solved the problem years ago by using a circle of translucent plastic surrounding the camera lens. Visualize a large size can made of the plastic and NOT metal. Center the "can" over your coin and place your light source(s) wherever you wish on the outside perimeter of the "can" . The light penetrates the plastic sheet the direct light never shines on the coin, only the muted light. Examples:
Yes sir. We've gone down this road before.. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/how-do-you-present-your-photos.351782/
... So you took a bad screen shot of a bad picture and posted an incomprehensibly vague thread.... because why? I'm confused to the point of frustration by you.
So I got the coin today. I've taken my own photos and am posting them to get a consensus on whether or not the seller would have... done better? or worse? if they had taken proper photos of the coin. These are my photos. Refer to beginning of thread if you don't get it......
